Threatfire download and installation instructions
Threatfire is behavior based malware protection. It's a new generation of protection that monitors all programs as they access critical system files, e-mail or the internet. If the behavior of the program seems "suspicious" it stops it in it's track. This is very good protection because it can even stop attacks that it's never seen before.
Threatfire is absolutely FREE!!
Step 1: Open a web browser and go to www.threatfire.com then click the green FREE Download button
Step 2: Click Save File on the download dialog as shown below
Step 3: Click the Open link next to tfinstall.exe, if you used another web browser other than firefox find the tfinstall.exe file where you downloaded it and double click to launch.
Step 4: Click Next
Step 5: Accept the License Agreement then click Next
Step 6: Confirm the installation directory (default OK) then click Next
Step 7: Choose your prefered icon options and click Next
Step 8: Choose Install as shown below. When the installation is complete choose Finish.
Congratulations installation is complete! We've found the default settings are good, if you are curious you can launch the Threatfire console and review the settings.
