Grisoft AVG free download and installation instructions
Note: The cooresponding screen shot picture to each step is shown below. Download Instructions use Firefox as a web browser so screen shot pictures and steps may differ slightly with a different web browser however you still should be able to navigate through the install.
The three major steps are (1) Download, (2) Install and (3)Configure. Instructions for (1) Download is shown on this page. A link to Install is linked at the bottom of this page.
Step 1: Open a web browser and go to free.grisoft.com then under Free basic protection click Get it Now
Step 2: Click the download button under the Free basic protection column
Step 3: Click the Download AVG Free 8.0 button
Step 4: Click Download Now
Step 5: Click OK
Step 6: Click Open If you used Internet Explorer you will have a similar dialog
Step 7: Click OK
Download is complete and Installation should have started. Now you can proceed to Install Instructions
